$500 Reward Offered in Chick-fil-A Shooting

Central Arkansas Crime Stoppers, in conjunction with the Conway Police Department, is offering a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest of the person who shot two employees during an attempted robbery of the Chick-fil-A on Prince Street Tuesday night.

CPD released surveillance pictures of the shooter and now we are releasing pictures of the car which detectives believe he used to flee from the scene. Based on descriptions from victims and the video, it appears the shooter is a light-skinned black male, approximately 5’11” - 6’1” tall. The get-away car looks to be a white, 2009-2013 Mercedes E-class. The windows do not appear to be tinted and the rims are plain, five-spoke rims.

If you are not already familiar with this incident, it took place around 10:50 p.m. on Tuesday, July 14th. An employee walked out the back door of the restaurant and was met by a man with a gun. The suspect then forced the employee back inside the building. That is when the employee, as well as another employee in the restaurant, was shot. The shooter left the building and is believed to have gotten into the car described above.

The victims are said to be recovering well. If you have any information on this case you are asked to call Central Arkansas Crime Stoppers at 501-340-TIPS (8477) or Conway Police at 501-450-6120 or you can text an anonymous tip to CRIMES (274637) use the keyword CONWAY plus your tip.
